Kaacib Expands to Saudi Arabia via BridgeStart Global Gateway | Pakistani Startup News

Pakistani fintech startup Kaacib has taken a major step towards international expansion, officially entering Saudi Arabia through its selection under the BridgeStart Global Gateway (BGG) program. The initiative, in partnership with Xpand Riyadh and 1MORETHING, aims to support startups in scaling operations beyond Pakistan and into key global markets.

The official MoU marking Kaacib’s entry into Saudi Arabia was signed during Indus AI Week held at NASTP Islamabad. Founded in Karachi and Lahore, Kaacib is now positioning itself for growth in the Middle East, signaling the startup’s ambition to make its services available to a wider international audience. This move reflects a broader trend among Pakistani startups seeking strategic partnerships and support to establish a global footprint.

Support from prominent local ecosystem players has been instrumental in enabling Kaacib’s expansion. Pakistan Startup Fund, 1MORETHING Ventures, Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, and other ecosystem partners have provided guidance, mentorship, and resources to prepare the startup for entering a competitive foreign market. This collaboration demonstrates a growing network of institutional support for Pakistani entrepreneurs aiming for cross-border growth.

Kaacib’s journey highlights the increasing participation of Pakistani startups in programs like BGG, which facilitate access to global markets and investors. By leveraging partnerships with organizations such as Xpand Riyadh, the startup gains not only financial and logistical support but also insights into navigating regulatory and cultural differences in international operations.

The expansion into Saudi Arabia marks a milestone for Kaacib, which has steadily built its presence in domestic markets before seeking international opportunities. With this step, the startup is expected to explore new client segments, particularly within the fintech and digital financial services sector, while maintaining its commitment to providing innovative solutions for users in Pakistan and abroad.

The startup’s management expressed gratitude to its supporters, emphasizing that the journey has just begun. Kaacib’s entry into the Saudi market is not just a growth milestone but a statement about the readiness of Pakistani startups to compete and collaborate on a global stage.

As Kaacib continues to scale its operations, the startup’s participation in programs like BGG reflects a promising roadmap for Pakistani ventures looking to expand regionally and internationally. With robust institutional support and strategic partnerships, Kaacib is well-positioned to build a strong presence in the Middle East while contributing to the visibility of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
