Kodifly Holds Founders Sync Event at NSTP Bringing Together Startup Ecosystem

Published on

Kodifly hosted its first Founders Sync at its office within the National Science and Technology Park, bringing together founders, engineers, students, and builders for an evening of open discussions around the challenges and opportunities within Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. The event was structured around informal conversation rather than a formal agenda, with attendees discussing topics ranging from artificial intelligence and product development to hiring, fundraising, and customer feedback, along with candid reflections on mistakes made along the way.

The session was designed to create a space where founders and builders could speak openly about what they are working on without the pressure of presenting polished narratives, an approach that organizers said allowed different perspectives to surface naturally throughout the evening. Participants included individuals at varying stages of their startup journeys, from early stage builders to more established founders, all engaging in discussions where no single person held complete answers to the questions being raised.

The event featured contributions from Saud Bangash, Resident Director of the Pakistan Business Council, and Kamil Aziz from Zayn VC, both of whom shared their perspectives with attendees during the session. Their participation added an additional layer to the discussions, bringing in viewpoints from outside the immediate founder community and connecting the conversation to broader industry and investment perspectives relevant to Pakistan’s startup landscape.

Organizers described the event as a reflection of how collaboration within the startup ecosystem often happens through small, practical gestures between founders, pointing to the fact that furniture used for the event had been borrowed from another founder operating out of a neighboring office within the same park. This kind of informal support between founders was framed as central to the broader idea behind the event, with organizers noting that connection and shared context among founders contribute meaningfully to the strength of the ecosystem as a whole.

Kodifly said the Founders Sync is intended to continue as a recurring event as the company brings new products into the Pakistani market and continues contributing to the country’s growing startup ecosystem. The company expressed interest in connecting with more founders, builders, and innovators through future sessions, with plans to hold additional Founders Sync events going forward as part of its ongoing engagement with the local startup community.
