MOITT and Meta Launch Small Business Growth Academy for Pakistani SMEs

Published on

The Ministry of IT and Telecom, in collaboration with Meta, is inviting small and medium enterprises across Pakistan to join the Small Business Growth Academy, a free learning programme designed to help businesses build a stronger digital presence. The initiative targets more than one thousand SMEs, with women led businesses specifically encouraged to participate.

The programme is structured around helping SMEs reach more customers, learn digital marketing and AI tools, and explore broader opportunities for growth. This combination of digital marketing fundamentals alongside more advanced AI tool training reflects a comprehensive approach aimed at bringing smaller businesses up to speed with both foundational digital practices and newer technologies that could give them a competitive edge.

By partnering with Meta specifically, MOITT is positioning the programme to draw on Meta’s expertise and resources in digital marketing and platform based business tools, given the company’s significant role in how many small businesses currently market themselves online through platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. This partnership model reflects a broader pattern of government ministries collaborating with major global technology companies to deliver practical digital skills training at scale.

Training for the Small Business Growth Academy is set to begin in September 2026, with registrations now open ahead of that start date. The scale of the programme, targeting more than one thousand SMEs, suggests an effort to reach a broad cross section of small businesses across Pakistan rather than a narrowly focused pilot initiative limited to a small group of participants.

Those interested in registering for the programme can do so through atomcamp.com/sbga, with atomcamp serving as the delivery partner facilitating the training. The Small Business Growth Academy adds to MOITT’s continued efforts to support Pakistan’s broader digital economy, extending digital skills training beyond the startup and technology sector specifically into the country’s much larger population of small and medium enterprises.
