National Incubation Center Karachi Team Holds Leadership Session On Ownership Accountability Purpose And Priorities

Published on

The senior team of National Incubation Center Karachi recently took part in a leadership session led by Nazish Hussain, Consultant Coach at the blue co., aimed at helping them reflect, reconnect with purpose and rethink the way they work, lead and collaborate. The session used discussion, interactive exercises and thought-provoking ideas to look at the foundations of personal and professional effectiveness. Topics included motivation and engagement, teamwork, hard work and how to set the right priorities.

The discussions went beyond general ideas and asked participants to reflect on ownership, accountability and their own sense of responsibility towards shared goals. The session stressed the value of defining a clear purpose, taking responsibility and turning intentions into action, and it showed how individual ownership, aligned priorities and collective commitment add up to meaningful progress. For an incubator, whose staff spend much of their time coaching startup founders on the same questions, an internal session of this kind also gives the team a chance to apply those ideas to their own work.

Nazish Hussain is a certified Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming coach and an entrepreneur with experience in brand strategy, digital marketing and women-led businesses. She founded Secret Stash, a Pakistani platform for pre-loved fashion, and earlier worked in marketing and media roles at Unilever and Starcom. The blue co. is a leadership coaching and consulting firm based in Karachi that works with leaders and teams across Pakistan and the Gulf.

National Incubation Center Karachi is one of the national incubation centres set up by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, with the backing of Tech Destination Pakistan. It has recently hosted the Pakistan Investor Summit, in which startups from its cohorts pitched to investors, and it continues to run cohort programmes for early stage founders in Karachi. The session with the blue co. reflects an effort to build the skills of the team that supports those founders.
