NIC Karachi, in collaboration with Eventage, will host a startup panel session titled From Booth to Business, The GITEX Playbook for Going Global, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the NIC Karachi Auditorium. The session addresses a question many founders ask only after they have already spent money on a booth: what does it actually take to turn participation at a major international exhibition into something with real business value afterward.
The panel will bring together founders who have exhibited at GITEX and learned firsthand what works and what doesn’t once they step away from their own booth. Rather than focusing on the logistics of exhibiting itself, the conversation is built around the harder question of conversion, how a company turns a few days of visibility at a global tech show into sustained connections, investor interest, or actual customers.
Topics for the session include real experiences from GITEX exhibitors, what worked and what didn’t along with lessons learned, building global visibility and connections, engaging with investors, partners and potential customers, practical dos and don’ts for first-time exhibitors, and the central theme of turning participation from booth to business. For founders who have never exhibited internationally, this kind of first-hand accounting from people who have already navigated GITEX and Expand North Star offers a more grounded preview than generic advice about exhibiting abroad.
The session is open to in-person attendees at NIC Karachi Auditorium, Building 1, First Floor, with online participation available for those joining from outside Karachi, with Zoom access shared only with registered participants. Whether a founder is already exploring global opportunities or simply looking to take their startup beyond Pakistan, the session offers a direct look at what GITEX Expand North Star can offer. Registration is mandatory and available through the provided link.
