NIC Karachi to Host Session on Emerging Technologies in Industrial Automation with FrieslandCampina Malaysia Expert

National Incubation Center Karachi is organizing a curriculum-focused learning session titled “Emerging Technologies in Industrial Automation,” aimed at helping startup founders understand how modern technologies are transforming industrial operations. Scheduled for March 13, 2026, the session will be conducted online and will provide participants with insights into how artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and robotics are reshaping manufacturing and industrial environments.

The session will be led by Zuhair Aziz Qidwai, IT Business Partner Manufacturing at FrieslandCampina Malaysia, who brings extensive experience in digital transformation and technology integration within large-scale manufacturing systems. Through this session, founders will gain exposure to practical perspectives on how emerging technologies can be applied to develop smarter industrial solutions and more efficient operational processes.

Industrial automation has increasingly become a central theme in global manufacturing and production systems. Technologies such as AI-powered analytics, connected sensors through IoT networks, and robotic automation are enabling companies to improve operational efficiency, reduce production downtime, and enhance decision-making through real-time data insights. The upcoming session at NIC Karachi aims to help founders explore these developments and understand how startups can build innovative solutions around these technological shifts.

Zuhair Aziz Qidwai is expected to share insights based on his experience working within international manufacturing environments, particularly in integrating digital tools and advanced technologies into operational workflows. His perspective will provide founders with a closer look at how industrial organizations adopt emerging technologies and the role that innovative startups can play in supporting this transformation.

The session will also examine how startup-driven innovation can contribute to solving challenges within industrial ecosystems. Founders participating in the program will be able to learn how emerging technologies can create opportunities for new products and services tailored to manufacturing, logistics, supply chain management, and industrial data analytics. Discussions will highlight how early-stage ventures can align their solutions with evolving industry demands and technological trends.

NIC Karachi regularly organizes structured learning sessions, mentorship programs, and curriculum-based workshops for founders participating in its incubation initiatives. These sessions are designed to help entrepreneurs build technical understanding, refine their product strategies, and explore industry-specific opportunities that can drive startup growth. By connecting founders with experienced professionals from global industries, the incubation center provides practical exposure to real-world applications of technology.

The online format of the session allows participants from different locations to attend and engage with the discussion. Founders will have the opportunity to gain insights directly from an industry practitioner while also exploring how technologies like AI, IoT, and robotics can influence product development strategies within the startup ecosystem.

NIC Karachi operates with the support of Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and Ignite – National Technology Fund, while ecosystem partners including LMKT, LuckyOne Mall, and Orbit Ventures contribute to the incubation center’s programs and initiatives aimed at supporting emerging entrepreneurs.

Registration for the session is open, and founders interested in learning about the intersection of emerging technologies and industrial automation can participate through the online event scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM on March 13, 2026. More details about the session and registration are available through the official event link shared by NIC Karachi.
