Orbit Ventures Demo Day 2026 | NIC Karachi & Peshawar Startups Showcase

Published on

Orbit Ventures, in partnership with National Incubation Center Karachi and National Incubation Center Peshawar, is set to host an acceleration Demo Day, bringing together early-stage startups from its latest cohort before an audience of investors, industry professionals, and ecosystem stakeholders. The event is being held with support from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite — National Technology Fund, signalling institutional backing for what is shaping up to be a significant showcase of homegrown startup talent.

Startups participating in the cohort are building products and platforms spanning a broad range of sectors, including Software as a Service, human resource technology, retail, supply chain management, educational technology, and consumer goods. The diversity of verticals reflects the widening scope of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, which has increasingly moved beyond fintech into areas that address structural gaps across industries. The Demo Day is being positioned not just as a showcase but as an active platform for early-stage investment discovery. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with founding teams and explore potential investment opportunities at what organisers are calling the NIC Acceleration Demo Day.

National Incubation Centers have played a consistent role in nurturing early-stage ventures across Pakistan, with campuses in major cities providing startups with mentorship, infrastructure, and access to networks that are otherwise difficult to tap at the pre-seed stage. The involvement of Orbit Ventures, which focuses on emerging markets venture capital, adds an international investment lens to the event. Ignite, which operates under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, has been a recurring supporter of incubation and acceleration programmes across the country, channeling public funds toward technology-driven entrepreneurship. Its support for this cohort continues that pattern of public-private collaboration that has become something of a defining feature of Pakistan’s startup support infrastructure.
