The Industry Stakeholder Consultation Session on the Sovereign AI Infrastructure Initiative was held in Islamabad under the National AI Innovation Hub (NAIIH), bringing together key representatives from government institutions, private sector organizations, policymakers, innovators, and industry experts. The session served as a collaborative platform aimed at discussing the future direction of Pakistan’s artificial intelligence ecosystem, with a focus on building a structured and secure foundation for AI driven development across multiple sectors. The engagement highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between public and private stakeholders in shaping national level technology infrastructure.

Hosted by Ignite National Technology Fund under Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan, the initiative reflects a continued national commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and technological progress. The session brought attention to the role of structured platforms such as NAIIH in enabling dialogue between different stakeholders in the technology landscape. The event also highlighted contributions from multiple technology and incubation platforms, including Tech Destination Pakistan, National Incubation Center Lahore NIC Lahore, National Incubation Center Peshawar NIC Peshawar, NICAT National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies, NIC Islamabad, NIC Faisalabad, National Incubation Center Hyderabad, and National Incubation Center Karachi. These institutions represent a growing network supporting innovation and startup development across Pakistan. Their involvement in the consultation session reflects a broader effort to align incubation ecosystems with national AI infrastructure goals. The session also underscored the importance of continued engagement among stakeholders to ensure that emerging technologies are effectively integrated into Pakistan’s digital strategy under Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan.
