GriftX Private Limited, a startup founded by Aisha Zakir and incubated at National Incubation Center Hyderabad, has been selected among 85 startups out of 225 applicants at the TiE Los Angeles chapter, marking a notable step for the company as it moves into a more internationally connected phase of its growth. The selection places GriftX within a smaller group chosen from a much larger applicant pool tied to TiE’s global network, which drew four thousand nine hundred and eighty applications across forty five chapters worldwide.
Aisha Zakir, who serves as Founder of GriftX, has built the company through National Incubation Center Hyderabad’s incubation programme, with the startup’s selection at TiE Los Angeles being described by the incubator as a milestone for both the company and the wider Hyderabad ecosystem. TiE, short for The Indus Entrepreneurs, operates as a global network with chapters spread across multiple countries, and its Los Angeles chapter is one of the more established nodes within that network, offering selected startups access to mentorship, investor connections, and exposure within the United States market.
The scale of competition behind GriftX’s selection is notable given the size of the global applicant pool, with eighty five startups ultimately chosen from two hundred and twenty five applicants at the Los Angeles chapter specifically, out of a combined pool of nearly five thousand applicants across TiE’s international chapter network. National Incubation Center Hyderabad framed the outcome as evidence of the calibre of startups coming out of its programme, noting that GriftX’s progress reflects positively on the broader incubation ecosystem supported by Ignite National Technology Fund and Ministry Of IT and Telecom in Hyderabad.
The announcement was shared alongside acknowledgements of PTCL and LMKT, both of which have been associated with National Incubation Center Hyderabad’s ongoing activities, as well as Tech Destination Pakistan. The selection at TiE Los Angeles is expected to give GriftX access to a wider network of mentors and potential investors based in the United States, a step that often follows for startups selected through TiE’s global accelerator style programmes as they look to expand their reach beyond their home markets.
National Incubation Center Hyderabad has continued to position itself as a source of startups capable of competing on international platforms, and GriftX’s selection at TiE Los Angeles adds to a growing list of companies from the incubator that have secured recognition or opportunities outside Pakistan. Specific details regarding what GriftX offers as a company were not disclosed as part of the announcement. Additional information about GriftX can be found through its LinkedIn page.
