HunarmandKhawateen by Crafters Guild: Empowering Home Chefs via Digital Means

Published on

Crafter’s Guild has launched the HunarmandKhawateen initiative to empower struggling home chefs, particularly those facing financial difficulties.

This program offers a lifeline to female home chefs facing challenges in establishing or growing their online businesses. The initiative focuses on identifying and supporting women with entrepreneurial potential, regardless of their background or current circumstances.

The Crafter’s Guild utilizes a careful selection process, including data analysis, interviews, and growth potential evaluation, to ensure support reaches truly deserving applicants. Confidentiality is paramount, and the organization protects the identities of participants who may be experiencing abuse or hardship.

Shortlisted home chefs receive a free stall at the prestigious Crafter’s Expo (2024) along with a cash grant to invest in their business and prepare for the event. Additionally, participants gain access to valuable learning resources, a supportive community, and mentorship opportunities to help them build a sustainable venture.

The #HunarmandKhawateen initiative maintains participant anonymity, safeguarding their standing within their communities and providing a safe environment to explore their business potential.

Founded with the purpose of empowering women, The Crafter’s Guild established the #HunarmandKhawateen program to rebuild the confidence of female breadwinners struggling to support their families. The initiative encourages individuals to nominate deserving home chefs in need of a helping hand.
