Ignite and TDAP Open Applications for Pakistani Startups to Join TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 in San Francisco

Ignite, in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has opened applications for Pakistani startups to participate in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, one of the world’s leading technology and startup conferences. The event is scheduled to take place from October 27 to 29, 2025, at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, USA.

TechCrunch Disrupt is globally recognized as a launchpad for high-potential ventures and innovative technologies. It attracts thousands of influential founders, venture capitalists, journalists, and ecosystem builders, making it an unparalleled opportunity for startups to showcase their solutions, secure funding, and connect with global tech leaders. The event is known for its Startup Alley exhibition, Disrupt Stage featuring iconic entrepreneurs, and competitive pitch battles that help identify emerging industry leaders.

Through this initiative, Ignite and TDAP aim to highlight Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem on the global stage. Selected startups will receive either full sponsorship, which includes exhibition space and boarding and lodging, or pod-only sponsorship, depending on final selection outcomes.

Why participate?
The program offers high-impact exposure for early-stage and growth-stage startups. Startups will be given exhibition space at the renowned Startup Alley, opportunities for investor matchmaking, and access to exclusive networking sessions with more than 10,000 stakeholders from across the international tech landscape. Participants will also gain the chance to attend sessions featuring visionary entrepreneurs, unicorn founders, and top venture capital firms.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Preference will be given to startups with a valid USA visa.
  • The startup must be actively operating in Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem.
  • Registration on startupconnect.pk is mandatory.
  • The startup must be less than five years old.
  • Startups previously sponsored internationally by Ignite are ineligible for repeat sponsorship.

The application deadline is September 12, 2025, and only shortlisted startups will be considered for final selection. Depending on assessment, startups may receive either full sponsorship (covering exhibition costs and boarding/lodging) or pod-only sponsorship to ensure a wide range of representation from Pakistan.
